Let us think and reflect
The aim of yoga is to make the mind quiet and free from all distractions. It brings overall health and well-being.
The word ‘yoga’ comes from ‘yuj’, which means ‘to join’ or ‘to unite’. Yoga unites the mind and body, thought and action. It also brings harmony between human and nature.
It shows that the benefits of yoga are recognised all over the world. WHO wants people everywhere to practise yoga easily and for free.
Regular yoga makes a person calm and patient. It also improves concentration and self-discipline.

The Benefits of Yoga
Yoga is important because it keeps our body and mind healthy. One benefit of yoga that interests me is that it improves concentration. Practising yoga can help people reduce stress and sleep better. A popular yoga pose is Tadasana because it is easy and improves posture. Yoga is not just physical exercise; it also calms the mind. Finally, yoga can be a great way to live a happy and healthy life.
